Crimes against businesses are reported to make up a huge 20% of all recorded crime in the UK. This highlights a growing threat to business premises. Without the necessary security infrastructure, businesses are losing their hard-earned profits to theft and damages. SNAP Access & Security was introduced to combat the danger to business locations. With our expertise and experience, we can reinforce security across a range of industries.
SNAP Access & Security specialise in providing businesses with a catalogue of bespoke security technologies. The benefits include deterring criminal activity, protecting profits and maintaining business reputations. Since the company’s inception in 2017, SNAP Access & Security have successfully installed pioneering security systems at over 20 locations across the UK and Europe.
The team is made up of skilled engineers who have over 20 combined years of experience installing domestic, commericial and roadside security systems. The SNAP Access & Security Manager, Ben Sheldrake said:
"Our processes begin by speaking with the client and investigating into their security requirements. From there, we evaluate their existing facilites and recommend the best technologies to improve safety and prevent crime, during a free security health-check."
To strengthen business security across an array of sectors, SNAP Access & Security are able to offer a range of products. These include the following:
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is one of the most popular offerings from SNAP Access & Security and is a primary security solution for locations across Europe. ANPR is the technology that recognises licence plate numbers and automates certain procedures. For example, restricting access to specified vehicles in a particular area. Automated barriers can be coordinated with ANPR, to manage vehicle movements and provide a complete access control solution.
Our ANPR cameras are around 99% accurate in reading licence plate numbers and can reliably detect unauthorised vehicles trying to enter a location. Images of each vehicle entering a site are captured and time-stamped, whilst the ANPR software also helps with staff efficiency, reducing the time-consuming, manual tasks.
Simon McGraw, Estate Park Manager at Heywood Distribution Park said:
"As the manager of the site, I dealt with SNAP Access & Security to install 6 digital ANPR cameras, which have to quickly identify and open barriers for over 1,000 vehicles a day. The security system enables us to monitor vehicles coming in and out of the site."
