The impressive VEGATRUCK is touring the UK, offering free, technical training on level and pressure measurement for bulk liquids, fuels and powders - from their outstanding, ’Formula 1’ designed expanding trailer. The distinctive HGV started its tour on Tuesday 18th February and will be finishing in Grimsby on 20th March.
"We used the Kenworth W900 to haul the VEGA training room, because we wanted an eye-catching, iconic and powerful truck," explains VEGA Controls Marketing Manager, Doug Anderson. The gigantic, American-style HGV is unmistakable and previous models appeared in the 1977 film, Smokey and the Bandit and James Bond’s, Licence to Kill.
The expanding trailer holds training courses for up to 60 people a day. The VEGATRUCK training room is equipped with working instruments and functioning models in a 64m2 presentation area. VEGA’s level and pressure experts are on hand to answer questions about the range of products on board. New products are available for training and demonstration, including new low-cost 80 GHz compact radars, point level switches, pressure switches and transmitters - the latest Bluetooth App for all instruments, new controllers and VIS inventory system.

Whilst the VEGATRUCK is touring the UK, it will be benefitting from the SNAP network. "We will be using SNAP Account to pay for our Truck Parking and Washing every time we come to the UK," reveals Doug Anderson. VEGA signed up for their SNAP Account in early February ahead of the UK tour and have already used their account eight times.
SNAP hope to continue this relationship with VEGA Controls on their European tours, as our network of European sites expands throughout the continent.
