Instead of fitting vehicles with multiple country-specific onboard units, fleets can use a single approved device to pay tolls across several European networks. Germany operates one of Europe’s most comprehensive toll systems. The LKW-Maut applies to all trucks over 3.5 tonnes on motorways and federal roads.
