Drivers can now use SNAP Account to pay for parking at the outstanding Ashford International Truckstop in Kent.

SNAP and Ashford International Truckstop have teamed up to provide drivers with one of the UK’s premier parking, add-on service offerings – bringing SNAP’s digital marketplace together at Ashford’s award-winning truckstop.

Ashford International Truckstop was purpose-built in 1993 for trucking, serving the requirements in logistics nationwide and opening its doors on the 2nd May 1994. They cater to the trucking industry and truck drivers in the South East that cross the channel daily.

Financial investment, time, effort, design and expansion went into making Ashford International Truckstop what it is today, with structured security technologies strategically implemented across the facility to create a safe and secure environment for drivers.

”The primary goal of Ashford International Truckstop is providing a secure & safe environment for our customers, their vehicles & the goods they transport. In addition, we provide the best amenities and services the trucking community requires, all under one roof.”

Darren Smith – Operations Director, Ashford International

Drivers feel secure knowing that the facility is equipped with the latest technologies in security – from anti-intrusion fencing surrounding the facility, ANPR-enabled entry and exits, CCTV monitoring and controlling the site along with a strong team of security personnel that monitors and patrols the facility 24/7, 365 days a year.

With 660 parking bays, Ashford International Truckstop provides the following amenities:

• Shop

• Male & female showers & restrooms

• Laundry service

• Gym

• Restaurant

• Coffee shop.

SNAP and Ashford are big advocates for supporting driver welfare, and the new partnership will help to provide more secure and comfortable parking opportunities in the South East.

“SNAP drivers have been asking about being able to use SNAP at Ashford for a long time, and we are very excited to offer SNAP Account digital payments at Ashford’s excellent truck park.

“Kent has always been a hotbed for haulage activity, and it’s vital to have safe truck stops with suitable amenities, like Ashford, for drivers to enjoy.”

Stuart Willetts – UK Business Development Manager, SNAP
